Hervé joined CDC Innovation in 2003.
In 2000, he co-founded Global Biomedical Partners, the asset management company of IBMH, a $400m fund based in Basel, Switzerland and restructured IBMH’s portfolio by selling public equity holdings and reinvesting the proceeds in private equity, primarily in US biotech companies.
From 1995 to 2000, Hervé was a fund manager in various life sciences public equity funds such as BB MedTech and helped found the DH Life Science Fund when he was Head Analyst at Darier Hentsch & Cie in Geneva. He led the worldwide healthcare team advising the management on the $1 trillion assets of UBS Asset Management.
From 1989 to 1995, Hervé worked in the pharmaceutical industry at Sandoz Pharmaceutical USA and GD Searle in Chicago where he held various positions in drug development and marketing.
Hervé sits on various boards including Eclosion, an incubator that he helped create in Geneva. In 2001, Hervé founded BioData, an annual Biotech Conference in Geneva.
Hervé holds a Medical Degree from Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg and a MBA from INSEAD. He is also a « Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France ».
